The restoration of the Dodge RM74 Passenger Mail Motor, affectionately known as “The Tiger,” is approaching its final stages of restoration, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our team. However, a few areas still need attention to complete the project faithfully.
These include the interior upholstery and trimming work, exterior painting, and a purpose built shed for long-term storage and protection of “The Tiger”.
Join us in awakening “The Tiger” — your support will help revive this scrapyard legend, roaring back as a timeless icon for generations to come.

At the Daylesford Railway, we offer more than just a train ride. Each of our railway stations offer a fascinating journey back in time to when the local railway station was an important connection to the outside world for many rural communities.
Each station on our line has a unique story to tell and our original stations have been faithfully restored to a specific time period, offering you the chance to truly travel back in time
Daylesford railway station also houses our small museum collection with a unique display within the main waiting room.
