HISTORY

The KMQ wagons were a stop gap measure until more bogie container wagons were built. There were converted from U, T and KAB underframes when the vehicles were scrapped between 1974 and 1984.   KMQ wagons were numbered from 1 to 314.

History of KMQ200:   

1912    Built as a four wheel louver van U661.

1981    Underframe converted into KMQ200.

1989    Off register and sold to the CHTR.

 It is believed that KMQ200-K is only one in preservation.  .
