62RM

Wearing its original Motor No 62 classification, 62RM is at Woodend on the Daylesford service in the early 1930s.

62RM was originally at the Yarra Valley Railway at Healesville. In 2019 it became surplus to their requirements and they graciously donated it to Daylesford Railway.

Upon arrival at Daylesford it was placed in the second storage shed as it was obvious it was going to need a full rebuild Over the past 6 years most of the mechanical components have been sourced and it is planned to begin its restoration in 2027 when 26MT should be completed.
