The sole remaining example of the twelve 102hp Walker Railcars, they were part of Operation Pheniox, the plan to revitalise the Victorian Railways after the Second World War. Introduced to replace many of the mixed passenger and the wooden bodied railmotors from the 1920s on branchlines, they entered service in a distinctive blue and silver livery.
