* The Comeng Inspection Car is a fully enclosed vehicle with front and rear windscreens and canvas blinds on both sides. Fully upholstered seating is provided for crews. The engine is located behind the cabin in an enclosed engine compartment The vehicle is utilised by The CHTR for track maintenance.
Powered by a single Briggs & Stratton I/C twin-cylinder petrol engine, 694cc capacity, developing 18hp (14kW) @ 3600 rpm.
* Transmission: hydraulic coupling.
* Vehicle can be lifted by hydraulic turntable, or by mobile crane via fixed lifting point.
* Vehicle has emergency hydraulic hand pump for turning and towing purposes.
4.4.6: INTERIOR CONFIGURATION
The trolley comprises a front and rear windscreen, both sides made up of canvas blinds, a roof, and two individual front seats separated by a console; the engine is located in a lockable canopy behind the cabin (exhaust fumes are diverted away from the trolley).
